Amanda Jane has won many awards in advertising, marketing and long form direction. Her first feature film ‘The Wedding Party’ screened on opening night of the Melbourne Film Festival and won various awards including Best Feature Film at the New York City International Film Festival and Best Film at the Los Angeles Comedy Festival.
She has directed for over 80 brands in television commercials. Her creative direction of government communications campaigns includes her stand out work on ‘Natalie’s Story’ and ‘Rewrite Your Story’ for the eSafety Office.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Film & Television from the Victorian College of the Arts and a Masters in Film & Television also from VCA.
Amanda’s style is highly visual with an eye for detail and design. She is equally known for her ability to evoke powerful, realistic and humorous performances. Her work is a celebration of the scale and grandeur of cinema, whilst telling personal stories that engage and delight.
