‘Emily’ was a real teenager who experienced ‘image-based abuse’ and told her confidential story to us to help other girls who may be at risk of a similar experience. In order to protect her identity, we instead learnt about her aesthetic and her personal style, turning her ‘audio narration’ into a handwritten animation.
